How to release ratchet tie down? Please follow the below instructions, you can work easily and quickly.

1.Pull down the release catch of ratchet, see figure 1.

2.Open the ratchet until it’s completely open and flat, otherwise they are locked, see figure 2.

3.Pull and hold the release tab on top assembly to override ratcheting function, see figure 3.

4. Grab webbing from non-fixed side and pull to release webbing, see figure.

Locate the release tab once again and hold it down while you flip the ratchet closed. This will keep the ratchet in locked position until it is ready to be used to again.
